You can’t beat the breakfast special at CPD! The pancakes are literally the best I’ve ever had in my life, and they’ve been the same for the last 15+ years. Portions are great and you won’t find a cheaper or more filling breakfast in the DMV. An absolute must!
Visiting from Scotland, we wanted to experience an authentic American diner before we left for home. Staying in Washington we looked on Google to find the most recommended and the College Park Diner was top. This was well worth the trip to visit. An excellent diner with friendly staff. Very prompt in taking orders and serving. We had a late breakfast was superb, definitely worth the visit.
Staff was excellent, efficient and always checking if we needed anything. The food was large portions, tasted fabulous and was very reasonably priced. The inside was very clean and tiday.
That was everything I have ever wanted from a diner. You walk in and are greeted by the massive flattop on the other side of the counter, the smell of pancakes and waffles and coffee and fried potatoes, and are instantly transported to a simpler world. The diner is basically appointed, but you're here for the food and the atmosphere, which the diner delivers in spades. The food is perfect breakfast diner fare; the homefries were a standout. Don't expect fine dining, but do expect to not have to spend a lot, which is exactly what you want. To say nothing of the service, which is friendly and welcoming. I found a new haunt.
This diner is absolutely fabulous. Every item on the menu seems to be made perfectly. I love the hustle of the diner atmosphere and knowing that that next empty table is mine. I never feel rushed here. I do love getting my western omelet quickly and just like I like it. Stop by any day for a wonderful day.
Great diner feel! Service: awesome! Our waitress was very nice and super attentive. Everyone there was nice. Food: comes fast and was very good. I had the creamed chipped beef. I thinner cream sauce, but good. My wife had a veggie omelet. Very good as well Definitely recommend

The food we ordered was tasty and cooked in a more traditional way which we like it. The service was good and friendly.
Great cozy vibe with some delicious flavorful pancakes, the cakes had a great sweetness to them and were very fluffy. The 7 dollar weekday special had bacon, eggs and 2 pancakes. I could taste the eggs had some pancake batter in them which I love and the bacon was perfectly cooked as well. Took some time to find seating but food came fast, highly recommend!
